At First Tee – Contra Costa, we’re Building Game Changers by empowering kids and teens to be the best version of themselves. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with character-building, we create learning experiences that help kids uncover their inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that they can carry to everything they do. Our trained coaches not only provide an introduction to junior golf and an opportunity to enhance golf skills, but they also create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment to help your child prepare for life ahead, including friendships, school, college and even their careers.
Q: When does the next session start?
During the year we offer 4 different sessions: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. You can visit our website thefirstteecontracosta.org to view starting dates for each session. Generally, Winter classes begin the second week in January; Spring classes begin mid-March, Summer Sessions start at the beginning of June, and Fall Sessions begin in September. Registration for each session opens one month prior to classes starting.
Q: How do I sign up?
To register, go to our website firstteecontracosta.org and click the green button on the top right corner labeled "Register My Child". You can also visit the Parent Information section of our website for tutorials on how to create an account & register.
Q: When can I register?
To ensure your junior’s space in the class (class sizes are limited) please register as early as possible. You can also contact the First Tee – Contra Costa office & be added to the mailing list so you receive notifications once registration periods open.
Q: How much does it cost?
$115-160 depending upon age group and session. Financial Assistance is available. NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY DUE TO FINANCIAL REASONS.

Q: How long is the program?
Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions meet once a week for 8 weeks. Winter Sessions meet once a week for 6 weeks.
