The First Tee® is national program of youth development that uses golf as the vehicle for teaching life skills and the nine core values: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy, and Judgment.
The mission of The First Tee is: "To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote positive character development and life enhancing values through the game of golf".

Q: When does the next session start?
A: Summer session begins the week of June 6th (1 Day per Week/10 weeks). Registration opens May 1st. The Fall session begins the week of September 12th and registration opens on August 1st.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: To register, go to our website www.thefirstteecontracosta.org and click the orange button that says "Register". There you may view a full list of classes, create a profile, and select the class you wish to attend.
Q: When can I register?
A: To ensure your junior’s space in the class (class sizes are limited) please register no later than one week prior to the start of the session. In order to ensure safe numbers of students in each class and appropriate numbers of coaches we strongly discourage bringing in registration form the first day of class!!!
Q: How much does it cost?
A: $59-$99 depending upon level and session length.
Financial assistance is available. NO CHILD WILL BE DENIED DUE TO FINANCIAL REASONS

A: You may pay online at the time of registration, mail or drop off a payment, or call and make payment over the phone

Q: How long is the program?
A: Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions are once a week for 10 weeks. Winter session is oncer a week for 6 weeks.
Q: How do I become a volunteer?
A: Visit our website at www.TheFirstTeeContraCosta.org for more information on how to become a volunteer. There are many different volunteer opportunities from coaching, to office and admin assistance and special events. If a volunteer would like to become a coach, there will be coach trainings available between each session. All volunteers must submit an application, have background check and in person interview with the Program Director Monica Sanders.
